Bullet Organisation Commitment Survey
The current economic market and rising unemployment rates within the country mean that nobody is safe from a prospective job loss. This uncertainty is leading many people to feel insecure about the future of their jobs: people who have jobs are clinging onto them and those without jobs are desperately searching to find work, often having to take jobs that they are over-qualified and experienced for, just to ensure that they have a salary coming in at the end of the month.
The state of the job market is likely to have an effect on the level of commitment that employees show toward their organisation. It is expected that even if individuals are experiencing job dissatisfaction, that they are likely to show high commitment to their employer, based on a fear of losing their jobs and not being able to find a suitable alternative. Commitment levels of employees are expected to differ for permanent and interim workers, as well as for UK and non-UK born people.
Our survey aims to identify the organisational commitment levels of employees during an economic downturn and to gauge the impact that this might have on individual and organisational performance levels.
We would be extremely grateful if you would take 10 minutes to complete this survey. The survey is anonymous and no individuals or companies will be identified in the results. An overall summary of the results will be posted on our website from May 2009.
